Our Beginnings in Whyalla Expansion to Adelaide...
Sudel Industries was formed in 1991.
In the early days, the majority of the work performed by Sudel Industries was for Onesteel (formerly BHP) Whyalla. The range of work included the programming of Toshiba equipment, drafting, scope development and cost estimating.
With core business continually growing and with Sudel Industries moving into construction and maintenance, additional labour was hired to cope with the increased work load.
In 1996 Sudel Industries decided to expand the customer base within Onesteel Whyalla, and to stabilise the work load to limit the effects of the peaks and troughs that were experienced throughout the year.
This has been achieved by good management of jobs and labour, by the winning of instrumentation contracts within Onesteel Whyalla, and by continually increasing sales within Onesteel Whyalla.
Sudel Industries is continuing to expand by tendering work not only within the state of South Australia but also Australia wide.
In Late 1999, an office was established in Adelaide to expand operations and offer calibration and repair services to small and medium sized Adelaide based companies.
Within 1 year, the Adelaide office was able to secure many small to medium and large customers, in and around the Metropolitan area. The Adelaide Branch maintains its ability to look after the small to medium sized customer, and are able to perform calibration maintenance
and repairs for many high profile companies. All customers are managed by establishing good working relationship, listening to the customers needs, and meeting their Quality control requirements.
In 2007, Sudel Industries invested in Calibration Software to reduce manual handling of results and better serve our Customers with State of the Art Fluke 744 Calibration Equipment. This would allow Data Transfer of Calibration Results from the Test Instruments into the Calibration Data- Base to reduce any possible errors. The "Procal" Calibration Software also gives significant advantages for the easy finding of History and Data Analysis to meet ISO:9001 specifications, and 21 CFR 11 Millitary Specifications.
Today Sudel Industries are able to provide their customers with a complete service from the concept and design stage to the installation and commissioning stage.

The CO2 Buddy and the O2 Buddy are designed for people who are entering places where carbon dioxide and nitrogen respectively, are stored or used. The Buddy is lightweight and sits comfortably on your belt or pocket. It operates for up to 12 hours on it's internal rechargeable batteries. The CO2 Buddy has a unique low power infra red solid state sensor which ensures you are protected from high levels of cardon dioxide and the O2 Buddy uses electrochemical measurement to ensure you are protected against low levels of oxygen.
Sudel Industries is the Australian service agent for BOC Limited for the Cellaguard Buddy CO2 and O2 Gas monitors. Once your gas monitor has been serviced by Sudel Industries, its information will be entered onto our Maintenance Management Database for future notification of service work.
